J.R.’s business experience includes over 30 years as a business owner and Fortune 500 executive. In the mid-80’s he acquired one of the divisions and grew it 3-fold, eventually merging it with a Canadian subsidiary.He joined a professional services firm as partner in the early 90’s and was responsible for its 5-fold increase in profitability over a 4-year period. He led the sales process to a F500 firm where he remained as an Area President.

J.R.’s business experience includes over 30 years as a business owner and Fortune 500 executive. He began his career with one of “the big-iron” computer manufacturers where he attained many individual and team recognitions. He then became a member of one of the fastest growing accounting application vendors in the United States. In the mid-80’s he acquired one of the divisions and grew it 3-fold, eventually merging it with a Canadian subsidiary.

He joined a professional services firm as partner in the early 90’s and was responsible for its 5-fold increase in profitability over a 4-year period. He led the sales process to a F500 firm where he remained as an Area President. In 2005 he began Accountability Partners.

J.R. holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Business from Olivet Nazarene University. His additional training includes Six Sigma leadership training, Karrass Negotiating Seminars, Franklin Covey and extensive sales, management and technical courses. He is a previous member of TEC – The Executive Committee and various vertical peer groups.
